The Oil Run is a unique event that brings together runners on both short and long distances every year. Its aim is to promote the Gorlice region – the world cradle of the oil industry and the pioneer of Polish chemistry, Ignacy Łukasiewicz, as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle and physical activity. Participants will have the opportunity to run in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Low Beskids, near two UNESCO heritage sites.

Highlights

  • The beautiful natural surroundings of the Low Beskids, and on top of that, we are running in the heart of the oil industry and the activities of Ignacy Łukasiewicz.
  • Two UNESCO heritage sites, namely the church in Sękowa and the church in Owczary.
  • Three distances: 4.2 km, 10 km, and 21 km.
