Race description
The Run under the Thousand-Year-Old Oaks is a unique sporting event held in the picturesque Kazimierz Biskupi, in the heart of the Puszcza Bieniszewska. The race combines sport, history, and the beauty of local nature, leading participants through the avenue of thousand-year-old oaks in the Pustelnik Reserve. The event is open to experienced runners, amateurs, and families, offering races on various distances as well as Nordic Walking marches. The organizers are the Active Kazimierz Biskupi Association and the Kazimierz Biskupi Municipality, and the tradition of the race dates back to the early 21st century.

Additional information
Verification and distribution of start numbers take place the day before the race (June 6, 2026) from 17:00 to 20:00 and on the race day from 8:30 to 12:15. The main race over 10 km starts at 13:00, the accompanying race over 5 km and the 5 km Nordic Walking march start at 13:10. The time limit to complete the race is 14:40. The award ceremony and event conclusion will be at 14:45. Participant limits are 250 for the main race, 150 for the accompanying race, and 100 for Nordic Walking. The event was reactivated for the first time in 2007, with online registration available. Participants can expect attractive prizes and certificates.
