Race description

Challenge Gdańsk 2026 is a prestigious triathlon held by the Baltic Sea, set against the picturesque scenery of Gdańsk and Brzeźno. Athletes compete in the half-distance event, which includes 1.9 km of swimming in the Gulf of Gdańsk, a fast 90 km cycling route through the Vistula Lagoon, and a 21.1 km run along the beach and Ronald Reagan Park, finishing at the Gdańsk pier. The event attracts both professionals and amateurs, offering a unique atmosphere and excellent conditions for sporting competition. It is an official qualifying race taking place from June 19 to June 21, 2026.

Additional information

Option to purchase a cancellation with full refund until June 1, 2026. Special discounts for teams of at least 10 athletes. Races are held over several days: sprint on Saturday, half-distance on Sunday. Race office and Expo zone open during the event days. Bicycle and wetsuit rental available. Routes may undergo minor adjustments due to coordination with road authorities. The time limit for the half-distance is until 4:45 PM on race day. Participants can opt for a full refund cancellation, with part of the fees donated to the Pomeranian Hospice for Children. The event is also known for high attendance and recognition in the triathlon community, including the title Race of the Year 2021.
