The Extreme Marathon Oščadnica is a mountain marathon that will take place on October 19, 2024, in the picturesque nature of the Kysuce village of Oščadnica. The course measures 42.195 kilometers and participants can look forward to an elevation gain of 1750 meters, as the run takes place along marked hiking trails and mountain ridges with stunning views of the highest peak of Kysuce – Veľká Rača (1236 m above sea level). The event is organized by the Municipality of Oščadnica and the Oščadnica Tourist Club.
