This will be the 41st edition of the Man Against Horse race! It is a race where endurance horses and their riders can compete alongside runners on the same course at the same time. Legend has it that the race started after a bar bet in 1980, and only twice in history has a human triumphed over a horse. The races consist of three distances: 50 miles (approximately 7,300 feet up and 7,300 feet down), 25 miles (approximately 3,300 feet up and 3,300 feet down), and a half marathon (approximately 800 feet up and 800 feet down). Check out the event page at Managainsthorse.com for more details; we hope to see you at this historic race!
