Race description
The Wigry Marathon is a unique marathon held within the Wigierski National Park, around the picturesque Lake Wigry. The route, approximately 42.2 km long, mainly runs through forest and dirt paths, with a small portion of asphalt, offering runners pristine air and beautiful views of Suwałki Region and Sejny Region. This is not a marathon for personal bests, but for those who want to enjoy exceptional nature and atmosphere. The event takes place on August 22, 2026, starting from the Monastery in Wigry and ending at the Community Square in Stary Folwark.
