The President of the City of Ostrołęka, Paweł Niewiadomski, invites you to participate in the XXVIII Kurpiowski Half Marathon in memory of Stanisław Dzięgielewski, which will take place on September 15, 2024. This is the largest running event in the region, where in 2023, 105 participants completed the race over a distance of 21.0975 km. In this year's edition, the organizers have increased the prize pool to a record 20,000 zlotys, and special prizes have been allocated for those who break the current course records.

- In 2023, the best athlete was Przemysław Dąbrowski, who won with a time of 01:11:14, marking his fourth victory in this event.
- Kamil Jastrzębski from Warsaw set a new record on the route of the VI Kurpiowska Dychy, completing 10 km in a time of 00:30:21.
