UltraKotlina

UltraKotlina is a mountain ultramarathon held in the Jelenia Góra Valley, covering scenic ranges of Rudawy Janowickie, Gór Kaczawskich, Izerskie, and Karkonosze. The event offers six distances from 15 km to 142 km and a relay race, with the finish line in Szklarska Poręba. The routes are marked and lead through well-known trails and peaceful off-road paths, allowing both experienced ultramarathon runners and beginners to enjoy every kilometer. The event is also an opportunity to bring the running community together and promote the region.

The start package can be collected at the event base or just before the start. The organizer provides buses to the start from the finish line. The route is marked with tape with reflectors, chalk spray, and signs. The race office operates at different locations and times from October 9 to 11. The time limit for individual distances ranges from 3 to 30 hours. Route verification takes place at control points, where participants must confirm their start number. Distances include ultramarathons and trail running, with mountain and technical control points, and the event is scheduled for October 2026.
