The Józef Piłsudski Institute in America invites you to participate in the run/walk "In the Footsteps of the Wolf. Run in Memory of the Cursed Soldiers," under the patronage of the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in New York, Mateusz Sakowicz. The event will take place on March 2, 2025 (Sunday) at 12:00 PM in Forest Park, Queens, covering a distance of 1963 meters, which refers to the year when the last Cursed Soldier, Józef Franczak, codename Lalek, was killed. We welcome entire families, and the distance is short enough to be completed as a walk/run. Please register in advance, as the number of spots is limited.
