Wings for Life 2026 Gdańsk Południe

Wings for Life World Run is a unique global race that takes place simultaneously worldwide. Instead of a traditional finish line, participants race against a virtual Catcher Car, which starts 30 minutes after the runners and gradually increases its speed until it catches the last participant. In Gdańsk Południe, the race will be held on May 10, 2026, starting at 13:00 near the finish area at Parkrun Gdańsk-Poludnie. The route is a loop approximately 3 km long on a paved surface, with a minimal incline on the connector. All proceeds from the entry fees support spinal cord research.

The race is accessible to runners and wheelchair participants. The Catcher Car starts 30 minutes after the runners, at a speed of 14 km/h, and gradually accelerates. 100% of the entry fees are allocated to spinal cord research. Participants use the Wings for Life World Run app to track the race and results. The race begins at 13:00, with participants registering and tracking progress via the app. The event is open to runners and wheelchair users.
