Race description
The 29th National Mountain Run Magurki is an annual running event organized since 1997 by the People's Student Sports Club "Groniczek" in Bielsko-Biała. The race is mass participation and promotes mountain running and an active lifestyle. The route, 8.8 km long with an elevation gain of 509 meters, leads from the Straconka district to the summit of Magurki, passing through picturesque areas of Mała Straconka and forest trails. The event attracts top Polish mountain runners as well as international competitors, and the course is professionally secured and well marked.

Additional information
The race starts in Bielsko-Biała, Straconka district, Pikowa Street (opposite the Inn in Straconka). The route is very well marked and secured by referees, technical staff, medical personnel, and police. The event takes place regardless of weather conditions. Participants are responsible for their own insurance, which must be arranged by their sports clubs. There are 12 age categories, from elementary school children to veterans. The race takes place in mountain terrain, with online registration, time measurement, medals, and start conditions including a medical examination or parental consent.
