Race description
The IV Wigry Marathon is a unique marathon held in the picturesque Wigry National Park around Lake Wigry. The route mostly runs through forest and dirt paths, with a small section of asphalt, offering runners pristine air and beautiful views of Suwałki Region and Sejny Region. This is not a marathon for setting personal bests, but for enjoying the exceptional nature and atmosphere. The start and finish are located at historic sites, and after the race, organizers invite participants and spectators to a bonfire.

Additional information
The marathon starts at 09:30 from the Monastery in Wigry, with the finish at 16:30 at the Community Square in Stary Folwark. The race office and registration are open until 08:30. Technical briefing is optional. Participants can be transferred to the start location. After the race, there will be an award ceremony for winners and a bonfire for participants and spectators. The route map is available in GPX format. The participant limit is 600 for both distances, prior registration and an entry fee are required. The event also includes a shorter 13 km distance.
