The Walk Around the Jelenia Góra Basin is one of the most recognizable long-distance hiking events in Poland, organized since 2004. Participants cover approximately 140 km around the Jelenia Góra Basin, traversing the ranges of the Karkonosze, Janowickie Rudas, Kaczawskie Mountains, and Izerskie Mountains. The event commemorates GOPR rescuers, and as part of the start fee, participants receive start materials, a gadget, a hot meal, and a certificate. The route is demanding, with a total ascent of about 5500 meters, and the time limit to complete the route is 48 hours.

No time measurement or classification. The start fee includes start materials (number, route map), a logo gadget (t-shirt), a hot meal and drinks at the refreshment point, water at selected control points, a certificate, photographic coverage, prize draws, and GOPR security. Long distance, mountain terrain, difficult weather conditions, memorial in honor of GOPR rescuers.
